Reason why you should let students do by themselves
Here is the most important principle of doing class :
Let students think by themselves, discuss one another, as much as possible.
Let students take initiative in solving problems.
Why should you let students do by themselves ?
If a student is used to being passive in his/her learning, he/she becomes unable to take initiative in his/her working. He/she might become good at being instructed by others, but he/she can create nothing by him/herself. Indeed, he/she becomes at a loss when he/she is obliged to solve a problem at his/her discretion.
Thus, as to the education, you must take a long view. You should not ask immediate results from children.
